Horizon chase turbo senna forever5/16/2023 The fuel strategy is best used for longer tracks. The speed strategy is better suited on tracks with fewer turns and dry weather. If a track is wet and has a lot of curves, the handling strategy is the best. Deciding which strategy to implement depends on the track. Finally, the last strategy provides extra fuel and one extra container of nitrous. The other is a lighter frame that allows for extra speed at the expense of less handling and more fuel. One is for better handling by giving you special tires. Horizon Chase Turbo’s retro-arcade hybrid style of driving beautifully compliments the new F1 vehicles even more so than I initially expected.Īdding further depth to the new vehicle roster is the ability to select one of three “race strategies” before the start of a new race. Nonetheless, the actual vehicle handling feels really good, despite the sharp increase in speed. Honestly, it was so fast that I found it to be a bit disorienting, so I mostly stuck to playing from the traditional third-person view. Their acceleration is nearly instant, and the high top speed is emphasized by the blur of the scenery zooming past especially when seen from the new (optional) first-person perspective. These mean machines are blisteringly quick compared to the cars from the main game. After all, it is based on the career of a Formula1 driver. Of course, what really gives this expansion a name for itself is its sense of speed. The Senna Forever DLC adds just enough new mechanics to effectively build upon Horizon Chase Turbo‘s already ace gameplay style. Now, for the first time since launch, the gameplay has truly gotten outfitted with what can only be described as a sleek new set of wheels, and a powerful new engine. That is, until the release of this latest expansion: Senna Forever. This indie darling hasn’t grown much content-wise since then. Horizon Chase Turbo already did a lot to make a name for itself when it initially launched back in 2018.
